POTTERY LOTTERY details
The Pottery Lottery evolved from the stressful nature of the Shop Updates. After receiving multiple emails from disheartened customers (generally from those with slower Internet connections and/or those who disliked “competing” in the faster-paced sales) I developed the lottery style sale. I will continue to offer this sale style, in addition to the regular shop updates, for as long as there is still active participation and enthusiasm. I only include the most popular items I have previously made in past sales.
How to Enter:
Visit www.APCuriosities.com/Pottery-Lottery (an email will go out to notify newsletter subscribers when it is open). If the page does not exist or is password protected that means the Lottery is not open at that time.
View a specific item. Each item will look as if it is Sold Out, but there will be a box enabled on the bottom right of each item page where you can submit your email to enter that item’s Lottery. It will look like this:
Anyone who wants to purchase that specific piece can enter their email into the lottery. Please only enter your email if you are serious about purchasing, to be fair to those who actually do want to buy the piece.
The drawing is item specific. An email can only be entered once per item. Multiple names will be drawn if there are multiples of a piece.
An email address will be selected at random for each piece. A direct link for that piece will be emailed to the winners, who will have 24 hours to complete the purchase. Please be sure to add the email address hello@apcuriosities.com to your address book to avoid emails ending up in the junk folder.
Only one piece is allowed per person in the Pottery Lottery, per shipping address.
Your email addresses are never shared.
This process is not the most straight-forward or the most simple route, but it is the best solution I have for the time being!
