Milkweed decorates the mug as a chrysalis hangs in a small nook, suspended from a leaf. A monarch butterfly spreads its wing in the main mug hollow. Mug is “imperfect” as the glaze crawled (did not adhere) to two small areas under the milkweed leaves, and I forgot to wipe off the blue underglaze on the bottom so it isn’t as clean looking as I would have liked. Both these deem it a second, although both flaws are entirely cosmetic. They do not impact the functionality or beauty of the piece. 

Mug holds approximately 15 oz of your favorite beverage. Measures 3.25” wide at mouth and 4.25” tall. Monarch wingspan measures approximately 2” long and 1” tall. Each piece is handmade, making each unique and one of a kind. Bottom has maker’s stamp and individual piece number 6244.

All glazes are lead free and food safe. Hand-washing recommended. DO NOT MICROWAVE.
